During the pandemic, I am taking taste-bud journeys as I self-isolate rather than physical journeys. Here is a frozen dinner I quite enjoy: Hawaiian Style Chicken.
Slowly but surely, I am utilizing some of the last few frozen dinners I purchased during the pandemic. After I finally use them up, I want to mostly cook my meals homemade rather than store-bought. That is a challenge I am posing to myself. This particular frozen dinner pretty much tastes restaurant-quality. Therefore, I might allow myself to purchase it again.
Recipe
Procedure
- Step 1: Make three cuts in the plastic bag to vent. Then, microwave in the provided microwave-safe dish for four minutes. Depending on the wattage of your microwave, you might need to microwave it a bit longer.
- Step 2: Cut open the plastic bag and serve. I found that I did have to microwave mine for about 20 seconds longer as it wasn't totally hot.
- Step 3: If desired, serve with rice. fI especially like the type of rice I selected as it only takes 90 seconds to microwave and makes a delicious addition to my meal in such an easy manner. I will definitely keep purchasing those rice kits. Eat and enjoy!
